This was an old Dweh hand pump that was beyond repair. The bore hole was in good condtion and the new Afridev handpump was planted along with a new pump pad. A Health & Hygiene workshop was held on March 2nd, 2012 for this and 2 other communities where 32 people were instructed on Basic Disease Transmission, Handwashing and ways to keep their safe water safe from the pump to consumption. |
