Flower Mill Community #1 is located near the Buchanan LAC (Liberia Agriculture Company) junction to Monrovia. There is another entrance leading to Rivercess and Sinoe County, this route divides Flower Mill Community from Water and Sewer Community. The Flower Mill Community #1 is a large lowland area with a population of about 528 inhabitants, women and children are about 55% of the total population. This community's only source of drinking water was hand dug wells that were not protected or chlorinated for many years, thus causing serious health problems to the population in the area. The people in Flower Mill community were very happy to recruit a few helping hands to work with the drill team.

The Health and Hygiene Team conducted a workshop on May 12, 2018 for this community having 27 participants.  The people were very grateful for the workshop and were very happy and thankful to God for the team. The workshop included basic instructions and methods on how keep their homes and environment clean, the demonstration of hand washing and how to protect and maintain good health.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
