Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

On April 23, 2018 a Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted  for the Dark Forest Communities Quarter #1,2,3,4 combined. The 25 participants observed and learned healthier practices to apply to their daily life.

Dark Forest Community quarter #1 has been without safe drinking water or hand pump for many years now, they drink from dilapidated hand dug wells previously, until the Life water drilling team and partners came in to save the lives of hundreds of women and children and the underprivileged, who cannot alfold to buy the plastic bag water for drinking. This has caused an unhealthy condition for them and economic hardship, especially, the women and children.

The population and family size in this part of the darkforest is about 7-8 persons to a single family head they have live under such condition since. The Lifewater Team in collaboration with the Community Leadership prayerfully acknowledges God for a positive response of partners in providing safe drinking water at this time when the community dead in need of clean and safe drinking water source.

This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
