Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

Todee Town is named after the Todee District located in the County of Montserrado, approximately 1 hr & 32 minutes from Monrovia, Liberia. This town is host to one of Liberia's Armed Forces Base, housing the Tubman Military Academy and Second Infantry Battalion of the New Armed Forces of Liberia. This populated town of 825 people, mainly women and children, depend mostly on coal burning and palm oil production for their livelihood. Todee lacks development in services to aid in good health, and did not have safe drinking water sources available for the people. The only source of water in the area were running creeks, and as a result the death rate from water born diseases have been extremely high in this community. Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted on December 20th, 2017 with 21 participants. This new well will serve the people with safe water, giving them a healthier future.
