A message from the community |
Dear Sir: On behalf of the Lifewater Liberia Inc. board and management, we want to say thank you so much for providing us with a way to save our two one-ton drill trucks. We bought these 1-ton trucks new from the Ford dealer so that we would have reliable transportation to carry the two drill teams on the terrible up-country roads to get to the needy villages. I can tell you, it has been a source of constant frustration and disappointment that the dealer cannot find parts to service the vehciles they sell and the fuel injectors and engines are constantly being breaking down stranding our teams in the jungle. And thre repairs take many weeks, cost thousands of American dollars and don't last long! We finally came across the solution of replacing the engine that is such a weak point. We found good, strong Nissan engines from trucks that were wrecked in accidends but the engines were still intact. It works fantastic and is an answer to our prayers! We are excited to get the team out drilling in a secure vehicle once again. The engine has fit perfectly and is now out on the field once again keeping the water flowing to those in need. We are very grateful and offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for you assistance with this issue. Sincerely Stephen Varfee Project Coordinator
