A message from the community

Dear Lifewater & Sponsor,

We thank you very much for drilling a well here in our village.  Many of the children were getting very sick from drinking the bad water. We thank the Lord because we prayed everyday, and now we have a well and this will keep us from getting sick.

Thank you,

Jean Wifride, Resident

Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Water Hardness: 40

The farmers here make their living by farming and hosting a market day to sell their product. Many people from other communities come on that day to buy food. Before getting this well the people would use the water from the river, some would try to purify it by boiling it, but many people continued to suffer from this bad water.

This community of approximately 800 people, will now have access to safe water for their families.
