Dear Sir, On behalf of the residents of capital-hill zone 3 Community. We like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the job well done. Our new handpump is a blessing and we wish that God would multiply much to all of you people so you can reach out and help many more of Liberians. Thank you Konah Ford
Zone Three community is located within Totota, salala District in lower Bong County, Liberia. This community is about 15 minutes walk from the main street of Totota. The Zone Three community is very populated but the issue of safe drinking water is a great problem for this community. Their source of safe drinking water is hand dug well that not safe for normal human consumption. The Zone Three community is not lay out for this people built houses and latrine all over the place which makes the hand dug wells more unsafe for drinking. This community is also situated on a hill making it so difficult for digging of wells. During a one day workshop conducted by Lifewater Liberia this community, the participants explained that their children are always sick with stomach problem and typhoid due to the lack of hand pump in the community. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
