Dear Lifewater & Sponsor, This community is very grateful to you for the tremendous work you did to have a hand pump installed in our community on so short of notice. Words are inadequate to express how grateful we are for the provision of safe drinking water for the residents of this community. Please be informed that the hand pump will be managed by the community leadership. Thank you very much for the good work done. Sincerely yours, Oretha G Hodges, Secretary |

The Honey Bee/Block D Duazon is very populated with mainly women, children and the elderly. Live in this Town is very difficult, many people here depend on petty trade, which the sales and money generated from there is usually used to buy food and take care of some medical bills for their families. Many of the children in this town also aid their parents in this work which stop many of them from going to school. There is no go hand pump in this part of the town, the only hand dug well in this town runs dry during the dry season, at that time many people travel long distances in search of safe drinking water. There was praises for lifewater Liberia when the town people learned that a hand pump was going to be constructed in their town because according to them there has been many organization that has promised to help with the water situation, but to no avail.
