Dear Sir/Madame, We the administration and entire family of the above mentioned School congratulate your company for providing us safe drinking water by installing this handpump. We also promise you that we will take good care and hope that it will stay long with us. Please we ned your help with many more things than this. Thanks Administrator Dohi
This elementary school is located in Handee Town in the Lower Bong County and District of Faumah. The school was established in the 1950's and currently has 353 students, 9 teachers and 3 private security guards. This school would get their water from rivers and streams and a hand-dug well. Using these sources of drinking water has caused a lot of sickness in the students and teachers. Now the students and teachers have access to fresh safe drinking water from their new hand pump. On July 24,17 a Health & Hygiene Workshop was conducted for the people of this community with 21 participants who will help educate others within the community. Some of the training included in the workshop is how to handle foods and their environment, ways to purify water in the absent of a pump, and safe practices in the absent of a latrine. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
