The people of this community thanked Lifewater for the great workshop held on Nov 16, 2016 with 30 people in attendance. This town is located in Lower Margibi county, not too far from Boys Town Junction; it is one of the oldest towns in Margibi, but still remains remote. This town is very populated with mostly women and children, and is built on sandy land not far from the sea. The houses here are built with mat, sticks and bricks. The people in this town earn their living by fixing brooms, fishing and farming. The people of Gbono Town had to drink from hand dug wells, until the timely intervention of Lifewater's provision, the people now have a modern hand pump that is safe for drinking. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
