Dear Lifewater & Sponsor, We the citizens of Upper Garzon Reserve are very grateful to you for your educative workshop brought to our community in which our people were able to learn more that will help them live long. We extend thanks and appreciation to you for giving us safe water. We pray the Almighty God will give you strength to continue your good work in Liberia. May God richly Bless you all. Kind Regards, William Cole
There was 27 people that attended the Health & Hygiene Workshop on November 21, 2016 This town is located around the Firestone Duside Hospital, a few minutes drive from Mendee Town. This town is very close to the Firestone Garzon Reserve Camp, which is why they named it Garzon Reserve Town. With this location being very close to the Firestone Rubber Plantation, the inhabitants still do not receive any provisions from the Company; there is no safe drinking water, no electricity, no clinic. The Government of Liberia was able to build three schools in this town. The only source of water is from a stream running down from the mountain that surrounds the town. But with the help of Lifewater Liberia, the town is now provided with safe drinking water through the construction of two modern Afridev Hand Pumps in the town. This well was drilled as part of a cooperative NGO initiative to provide safe drinking water to all Liberian's. Thanks to ''The Last Well Inc.'' for their coordination and support!
