Some community details (provided by our in-country partners) |

This community is in the Careysburg district behind Bensonville not far from the train track. Crozerville is one of Liberia historic settlements. Unfortunately, except for the presence of some administrative structures, Crozerville is no different from any other rural settlement. There is no electricity, safe drinking water, health facility among many other basic social services. This pump erected by Lifewater is the first hand pump in this town. The residents of this large community depended on open hand dug wells as their source of drinking water. The nature of the hand dug well allows surface run off to flow into the well during the rainy season. The people of this community has suffer incidence of diarrhea outbreak frequently as a result of the lack of safe drinking water. The population of this community is high with many older folks. They express gratitude to the team of workers and the entire Lifewater family for the project promising to take proper care of their new and safe water source. |
