Access to clean and safe water was a big problem in Wangaya 2 Kanyamawa village when the hand pump on the well supplying clean water to the residents stopped working. Women and girls would collect water from unsafe sources as rivers which  are several kilometers away from them.

Thankfully, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya fixed the broken hand pump, thus bringing back source of clean water closer to the residents of Wangaya 2 Kanyamawa.
