Having a borehole in our community gives an rare opportunity to access clean and safe drinking water. We wish to thank you Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya for the privilege of having access to clean drinking water.

Access to clean and safe water in Kochieng' Kawunda in Kenya's Kisumu county was never an option for the residents. However, it was so easy for the residents to access dirty water from a nearby dam because the water was close by and free, albeit unsafe for drinking.

For the community to have access to clean and safe water, Lifewater Canada constructed a new well in Kochieng' Kawunda village and installed a new hand pump. So, clean and safe drinking water is easily accessible to everyone.
