Community members of Bondo New Wine Church would drink and wash from a nearby river because its water was easily accessible. However, the river's water was contaminated and therefore exposed the residents to the spread of waterborne diseases. Thankfully, Lifewater Canada and Stada Kenya visited the village, constructed a new well and installed a new hand pump, thus giving the residents a chance to easily access clean and safe drinking and washing water. |
