I write to acknowledge with profound gratitude your provision of a borehole to us, GoodNews Academy and the immediate community of over 12,000 people. Our water situation has been very pathetic, especially between the months of December to May. During those months the seasonal streams dry and the open well does also. My name is Pastor Enock Ayuba. Our major challenge is the challenge of water. Our students don’t come to school early because they have to walk 15 kilometres each morning in search of water. This particular season, our locally dug wells have dried up, and we have been compelled to either buy water or make use of the dirty water from the community river, which imposes great health challenges on us all. We are so grateful to Lifewater Nigeria for giving us a clean and accessible water source. With the new borehole, we can rest assured that our students have been punctual in school.
