We, the Koko town family wish to appreciate the Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia for providing safe drinking water within our town. We promise to take care of our new hand pump and the well in general. Thanks lots.

For years, the residents of Koko town in Liberia's Margibi county would wash and drink from a nearby open hand dug well. Access to clean and safe drinking water was a big problem for majority of the residents, because the source of clean water was either too far away or too expensive. 

Thankfully, Lifewater Canada and Lifewater Liberia worked together to make clean water accessible in the community by  constructing a new well in Koko town and, installing a new hand pump. The communal well is now supplying clean and safe drinking water to more than three hundred residents.
