Some community details (provided by our in-country partners)

Yamah community in Paynesville City had known shallow wells as their only source of drinking water. The villagers suffered from diseases such as diarrheal after drinking from such sources. Even thought they attributed their poor health to consumption of unsafe water, the residents were unable to afford clean drinking water.

But Lifewater Liberia and Lifewater Canada drilled a new well for the community and installed a new hand pump. The residents are now happily enjoying clean and safe water from the well, and staying healthy while at it.
